Before You Read

Who we work with, and who we do not.

We are direct about fit. In highly competitive pools, sub-3.9 unweighted GPA or no credible path to 1500+ SAT substantially lowers Ivy/Top-20 probability. Outliers exist, but outliers are not a strategy. We value honest planning over optimistic sales.

Our Method

End-to-end planning, executed with discipline.

I

Positioning

We identify what is genuinely scarce in a student profile, then build strategy around that scarcity rather than around conventional checklists.

II

Execution Design

We build a practical timeline for activities, writing, recommendations, and testing so outputs converge when committees read the file.

III

Narrative Architecture

We turn scattered strengths into one coherent argument, making the application read as one person with one direction.

IV

Submission Discipline

Every line is reviewed for clarity, credibility, and fit. We remove noise, preserve voice, and protect strategic consistency.

Top-30 Outlook

Low

A student from a second-tier Beijing international program had a D on the transcript and a TOEFL score below 110. Under a conventional path, Top-30 admissions were considered highly unlikely.

We knew the Grade 9 D could not be erased. So we did not attempt to hide it. Instead, we built a compensation strategy: a stronger SAT result, recommendation letters prepared to provide context and credibility, and essays that explained the trajectory with precision. Alongside this, we anchored the application in the student's long-term public-interest project, surfaced his thinking depth and execution strength, and presented a coherent arc of growth and academic motivation.

What we planned, and what they executed

  1. 01Anchored the narrative in a long-term public-interest project the student had genuinely built over time.
  2. 02Extracted intellectual depth and execution evidence, then aligned activities, essays, and motivation into one coherent thread.
  3. 03Reframed the score weakness from a liability into a proof of resilience, focus, and long-cycle growth.
  4. 04Positioned the student as memorable not by score stacking, but by strategic clarity and personal distinctiveness.

Without The Plan

Without strategic reframing, this profile would likely have remained in a high-risk Top-30 range. What changed the outcome was not more generic credentials, but a coherent narrative built on real work and defensible evidence.

The final application, both grounded and strategic, secured admissions from Brown and UCLA. This reflects our core advantage: not score stacking, but application logic. In a tightening cycle, distinct personal identity is what makes an offer possible.
